Douglass Houghton Falls
Waterfalls
of Michigan
Phil Stagg
Named after the geologist that surveyed much of copper country, Douglass Houghton Falls is tied for the tallest waterfall in Michigan at just over 100 feet. It is on private property, and has not been accessable to the general public for several years now. Several people have died here, falling over the steep precipice.
