Union River Falls

Little Union Falls

The Union River drops a number of times, mostly in steep slides, along the eastern side of the Porcupine Mountains.  These are easily accessed starting at the Union Mine.

The Little Union River can be very fickle.  It drains a small area of land and has very little wetland supporting it, so unless there has been a good recent rain or snow melt, the river can dry up, sometimes completely!  When the river is running, though, there are some wonderful waterfalls on this little river.
