A few years ago, my wife gave me a gift that would turn into one of the most memorable experiences of my life—a photography tour in Iceland. While she stayed home, I joined a handful of fellow photographers on a journey that quickly evolved into a full-blown adventure across one of the most stunning landscapes on Earth.
Exploring Iceland’s Cinematic Beauty
We traveled through rugged terrains, winding rivers, and towering mountains that looked like they belonged in a fantasy world. Some of the places we visited were actual filming locations for major movies, including scenes from the Marvel universe. Standing in those iconic spots added a surreal layer to the journey.
Burgers, Budget, and Big Views
Iceland is known for its natural beauty—and its prices. We found ourselves enjoying burgers at outrageously expensive joints, laughing at the cost but savoring every bite. Between meals, we hiked through dramatic landscapes that challenged us physically and rewarded us visually.
